Ride whatever you want. If the desire is there, your bike will be fine.

What year is it? (of course this dont matter regaurding your riding..just wondering)

I rode a 98 or 99 dyno slammer/compe/detour...(idk which one it was,no stickers)...a few years back and it was fine..I know its not old school but It propably had the same geometry as one from the 80s haha.

i think i know what frame your talking about, i have one thats 90sish, coaster brake mount, its perfect for flatland, but if you can id upgrade to a nicer frame with nice geometry, you can ride flatland on a street bike, but it wont be as smooth or fast

it'll work fine
you'll get used to it
the bike doesn't make a rider
learn some stuff, have fun, progress, enjoy, repeat
