Posts: 374 Location:	a dk trails stem is also a flat stem on the new dk signal that is the stem they use its very short as for using a flat stem it will make barspins easier how u might ask well seing as its shorter when faceing in u will be further away therefore making it easier to spot the bars catch them and make sure they dont hit ur knees

Posts: 935 Location:	I rode an Odyssey Format stem with Haro forks on my flat bike for a while and came to the conclusion that your stemm offset should be similar to your fork offset or it will feel goofy. Of course, that was riding flat at low speeds. For street it might not make that much difference. I say don't go too short or too long, 40-55MM is good. There's no excuse for being a dickhead.

	i didnt mind my 35mm stem for street, but i did have a 21" frame so a longer stem would feel weird so the shorter one made it a little shorter. i wouldnt ride a 20.5 frame with a 26mm stem though, it might feel weird and hard to do stuff.
