Well, I have a two new sets of pegs to put on, a pair of Kink Light pegs and a generic pair for the front. They have griptape on them. I was wondering if anybody has ridden street pegs with griptape, and if they feel comfortable if you have big feet. There is nothing swift about a kick in the nuts.

Sure griptape on street pegs works fine.

griptape is great if you dont do back wheel meaning you wont have to hold your front pegs when your on the rear wheel it will fuck your hands up someting terrible but on the front where only your feet come in contact no set backs thanks to sulfer blitz,bikeflat.com,jeffmci,joedammit,jeff desroche, and all my other friends for motivating me to ride

try hockeytape. sure you have to replace it more often, but it's super cheap and will save your shoes. It's just the perfect grippy-ness,too. I find grip tape way too grippy and worn out knurled pegs too slick or you can have worn out spots causing inconsistency. You can also ride in the rain with the tape. It will also make your pegs much warmer to grab on a cold day. I could go on for days of the advantages of hockey tape, so if you're not convinced yet, you never will be.

Im running 4 Black GT Grind pegs that i took off my brothers bike(skateboarder, and didnt need the pegs) and bought a sheet of griptape at the skateshop, then just measured out how much i needed and wrapped then up. Sure Griptape isnt like a feather to your hands, but who cares? Where gloves. Apollyon Bike Company. ![]() SCG SHOE COMPANY

Just got a set of OG's for xmas, I love them. I sold the other pair, I can't ride pegs that cost that much money. So I am loving them now, and don't see many downsides to them.
