dude, i run mine as short as possible. usually so it just hugs the fork on the outside. and then i run the top so the cable shoots down bars without it putting any bad kinks in it. so as for how many inches, it really depends on your setup, cause everyone is going to have differnt height bars so theres no magic number. | |
