Is there anybody in here that can tell me how does pulling the bars forward the axis of the forks ( just like gomez and kuoppa adjust there bars) change the riding? Is there any benefits in running the bars that way?? It's seems that a lot of riders do this, just wanna know if it affects riding. thanks

make the hypothesis, now test it several times on your bike with different handlebar degrees. Based on the feeling you get with each of the different handlebar degree during hours of trials with all your tricks involved, you can come up with the conclusion to see what fits your riding, or if there is any benefits at all with your bars forward.

Well, I run my bars probably a couple millimeters forward from lined up straight with the forks. I do it because it... feels good to me? Yeah, because it feels good.

I'd hate to have to analyze that. If you're curious, try it and see what you think.

My opinion :
If Viki and Martti run them a bit forward it must be because of the "supersweeped" Bars, sweep makes bars a bit closer to you than a 0 sweep handelbar so to fix that they set it forward.
It could be to have more room on the chopper frame they use too.

I've got 0° bars and mine are rather set a bit backward so that there's not a bit diference when i turn the bars backward.

Oh, hey, didn't mean to come across as thinking you're a beginner. I bet if we went by flat skill, I'm the beginner anyway.

But whether or not it's better really just always depends on what each person thinks. Because each different setup can have different advantages and disadvantages, it can take a while to figure out which advantages you can use, and which disadvantages you can work around. Sometimes years. I'm constantly messing with my setup, always have been, always will be.

I pull them forward a tiny bit because of the scuffing pedal hang 5 pinkie squeak stuff I like to do... gives me just the right amount of clearance...

It puts your weight out over the front wheel better.

This is also why vert riders run there bars forward,so they nosedive back into the ramp or whatever.

i run it forward on my hiro coz somehow i feel i can swing the frame better that way. you get the right leverage if you lean it slightly right? at least that's what happened to me.
