I've been working on Pedal a lot lately, fixing bugs all over the place. I can keep working on what I think is important, but it may not be what you guys care about. So, what do you want to see changed, improved, added or even removed? Let's hear it.

This is a great site, there is a few things I would like to see change:

1. a simple way to load up pics!,, Lots of guys come here but dont know how to post pics here( me being one of them) so maybe a simple section with a how to, on this subject.

2. Get more riders posting here!   I know thats a tough one.  You have to attract riders here!  I'm shocked that American rider's dont support a local site, so much for American pride

3. Cover or acknowledge big events or any events happening in BMX,,,,, I dont care if its racing, street, park,,, it doesn't matter,, just post up a blurb about it,,, it just has to be acknowledged.

4. More,,,,, Nick riding layouts or vids,, I really enjoyed seeing the owner, man up and tackle that rail and I loved the skatepark pics.

Basically keep it fresh Nick , I know its a lot of work, but its gonna be worth it!!

Oh ya, I ride flat so try to keep the flat guy's contributing, like Bryan Huffman (awesome rider) and Lachlen,,,, great vids,,,,, more of that

besides more people?

Just more people.... really, just more people...

I think when people wake up and realize how that stupid global-flat web site brainwashed them into flushing money down the shitter on crappy parts that have no business in flatland, they will come back to the place that was boomin when good parts were plentiful....

Headings with Bold font would be nice  but, please do not change the colors

Also, a Tips section on anything other than bmx would be cool  Like..... Hacking emails, cell phones, etc...

That was an example though  lol

Oh yeah! more ICONS

I think I added more than "more people"

It would be nice to come here and see more than one post every month or two.

I think I made some other good points LOL.

for some reason I can't seem to insert pictures into the posts....

when I use the picture insert function, I insert the link, and it leaves a blank blue box in my text before I click post.... but when I post, its not there....

id like to see that work.... if its not too much trouble.

Nick you should consider stream lining the forums page. Most of the pages haven't been used in years. Either junk them or combine them into one section.

I find it hard scrolling down to see whats up because there is a lot of stuff there.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! Know that I've read every word, multiple times, and am working hard to improve things.

Recently I have updated the HTML to HTML 5, which shouldn't really make a difference to you guys, except it hopefully looks a little better in IE now.

I've also added some functionality around image uploads, such as resizing them to a manageble size if you upload straight from a camera. I also added a 'view original' link on image view pages so you can still get to the full-size image.

I've stripped out a lot of fluff as well, so pages should be loading faster in general.

I'll try to address every point you guys brought up, but might miss some.

I am definitely playing around with a few different ideas to make uploading images easier. This should be coming fairly soon.

More riders posting here I'm actually not working on too much right now. This is where you guys come in. Send in for some free Pedal stickers, and hand them out, tell your friends. Tell people how this is a truly independent site with no censorship. This is a community, and the only way it will get better is if the community itself steps up it's game. The more content you guys produce here, the more other people will come here and want to contribute as well. Let's get the grass roots moving.

As far as event coverage, I am definitely working to improve. I just acquired some new camera gear and will be making more of an effort to get to events to cover them, but I do work a fulltime job outside of Pedal, and this can be hard to do. So again, this is a place where you guys can help. Post a video, pictures, or a writeup on an event and if it's good I will definitely put it on the front page.

Bold headings might be possible, I'll look into it.

More icons are definitely possible, adding it to the list.

Avatar uploading will also be streamlined soon, it's something I've been working on.

Today I did streamline the forum page, and added back the old sub-forum toggling. So you can stil get to the subforums, they just aren't in your face. Also just as a side note, I prefer using the 'Browse Recent Forum Posts' page instead, you might find it better as a regular user also.

Thanks very much for all the feedback. I've been working on the site a lot lately and hope you guys notice things changing for the better.
