| Haven't checked in over here in some time but I figured there might be some coverage of the Fight With Flight contest and was surprised to see nothing at all posted about it. So here's at least one link. http://bmx.transworld.net/1000094579/videos/2010-red-bull-fight-with-flight-finals-highlights-video/ You guys may want to stay away from GF for your own reasons but there's a ton of coverage of the event over there. Also some drama from guys that went, lurked in the shadows without riding, now they want to run there mouth about TJ and Tyler from the safety of their keyboard. Trying to put a damper on a very cool event with top notch riding, some surprises and great afterpart. I suggest skimming their threads for the videos. Tony from Wisconsin has a Very NIce edit from practice. Brian | |

| I may have hurt myself at one of jakes events, but in all honesty, the events he's thrown that I went to have by and large been some of my favorite... I wish I could have gone this year, but I promised some family members I wouldn't go to any more out of state events/contests till I get the medical bills from the last contest I went to situated.... and thats gonna be a while... it sucks, but I gotta do what I gotta do... as for runnin their mouths about tj.... he had that comin... He's ragged on me enough times for not being consistent at contests or jams.... its about time someone gave him some of his own.... for all that trash he talked to me about my ability to do a cross footed hitch hiker, he sure as shit had a hard time rolling them at batb06 in front of me to prove he could do one better than me.... I feel no remorse for tj having people do to him what he did to so many others... as for raggin on tyler, I just don't see what thats all about... tylers a good dude.... so whats up on not entering pro rybs? I didn't see either you or powells name in the pro roster.... both you guys finally accept the idea that flatland changes too fast to keep up with pro anymore? powell talked a lot of crap over the years about the pro class since i've know you guys(part of why I think both you guys always had it out for me cause I didn't mimick either of your riding styles and tried to learn stuff that was modern).... and I know you probly heard more of it than I have.... what happened to the "Im gonna show theses people new scuffing tricks that are so hard they'll never learn them" attitude? I mean, you ripped on my riding style for being inconsistent and always stepping into stuff.... but seriously, whats the point of workin on contest runs if you guys wont compete to ever use them? or any of the trash talkin if you aren't going to go to contests to turn some of those words into actions?

| Tranq, I broke my wrist terribly about 6 years ago, since then I got married, had a daughter, bought a house, and am a partner in a top 100 rated bike shop. With all that pretty tough to maintain a level of riding to enter a Pro comp. Even without all that it would be tough to compete at that level, those guys are insane! I really wasn't too interested in the competition part of the event but it was free to enter if you showed up and paid to ride for the weekend, so I entered without even having a run planned, lol. I never really trained for comps all that seriously even when I was entering pro. As for trash talking....I'm a pretty positive guy and that's just not my thing, you may be the lone exception when you go online looking for a fight, but I'm done with that. Hope you get your bills straight, I got a few I still owe on the wrist reconstruction. Rybak | |

Several months ago I posted about the lack of contest coverage on Pedal. Pretty much got slammed about it from the three active members and Nick. Not one mention of the first North American contest of 2010 on here. Interesting. | |

| its a little bit overly redundant don't you think? flashing contest news on every site to people that saw it 40 times on another site isn't going to get people that already decided they can't go, to change their minds... LOL Of the few people here do you really think there were any of us who weren't aware of that contest? LOL is there much of a point posting news we already know?

Tony from Wisconsin has a Very NIce edit from practice. Brian Brian I just read this part and I can't but think your talking about my good friend, who went to support the comp and see some pros ride with his wife on his B-day. I dont see you advertising when Tyler is running his mouth on GF about Aaron and Sequence or when TJ is running his mouth about Chase and well everyone at GF at one point or another. The videos are good and there was some top notch riding, but sometimes those who run there mouths first and often eventually upset many people and that just how it is. Treat people how you would like to be treated,,, if you talk down to people on the internet and think its no big deal because thats how your gen. rolls,,, well you better remember that us older guys do take it more personal because we treat people the way we like to be treated and that is called respect. If you think its cool to have a beer with a guy who calls you an illiterate on a forum or belittles you because you like to bulid bikes, than your a different guy than me. You reap what you sow. When you say hide behind a keyboard are you suggesting that dis gruntled users of GF just start fights at these comps? Would that improve the vibe? I guess I hide behind my computer because I dont get a good vibe from the younger riders on Gf about being an older rider and feel Im constantly being talked down to because of age, so why the fuk would I want to go ride with these idiots? I would love to go see some great riding, especially from Matt because he is in my opinion overlooked lately because he's been around a while and doesnt pump enough I guess. Brian, I am not starting shit with you, but I felt you were calling out my friend and I will defend him when he's not here to defend himself.

| g-man, I just threw that disclaimer in there about the FWF threads on GF because I know you guys have your own thing over here and may wish to stay away from the controversial posts. I'm not saying nor implying that the guys should start fights at comps at all. Maybe they should introduce themselves at least and attempt to sort out their differences or agree to disagree in person. And by no means am I saying that TJ is free from blame in the whole thing. He goes on GF and gives sound advice to beginners tries to get people to come out to events yet has plenty of arguments and basically painted a target on his own back. So to the end that you reap what you sow, yeah I agree. But it's kinda a case of two wrongs don't make a right in my opinion. BTW those pegs are great! Too bad I only got 2 sessions in on them so far before rolling my ankle pretty bad last week.

| 2 wrongs don't make a right? LOL, its funny to me that you typed that..... in your case rybs, 4-5 wrongs make a right...... its ok your buddies ripped me off cause all of them think its ok..... because 5 people agree its ok I got ripped off, its fine n dandy to you.... LOL.... I get banned from chenga for being pissed I got ripped off.... LOL, and you stand by it.... its funny you n powell have no idea that you proved yourselves to be everything some older guys told me you were.... and for a long time I never believed those guys.... funny you guys did everything exactly as as they predicted..... you guys left powell out of the loop man.... you let him sit there on his high horse thinkin those dividual frames were the shit, mean while ya'll are tellin it like it is on the internet sayin they suck as bad as I do... and then powells all deer in headlights when I mention a thread about chase jumpin ship on the frames and back to the london.... and he went as far as to completely deny a public thread that I think you may have even taken part in, ever even existed.... LOL and I fully agree g-man.... treat people how they treat you.... which is exactly what I did with powell n rybs... he says sort stuff out in person.... but when powell n him were runnin their mouths, I show up to chenga to get lectured by someone who has no right lecturing people about runnin their mouth.... and nothing was sorted out in person.... just powell ranting and raving while I just stared at the parts on the wall.... rybs idea of sorting stuff out in person = behind that person back..... LOL yeah dude.... screw the computer guy who fixed your computer for free, that got fucked up cause you looked at highly illegal nasty shit, and the computer guy ain't gonna turn the cold shoulder to the nasty shit he found fixing your shit..... rybs you say im the one messin with peoples lively hoods? what about me fucker? I fixed that computer for free and I could go to jail for not reporting what I found on there.... and I told dave that when I was done fixing it... that I better not EVER have any issues about riding at chenga for not callin the cops right there and then to protect my job.... I seriously could lose my certification for not reporting that shit... so what did I do to fix that loose end? powell was talkin trash, so I figured I 1-up him and throw some hard truth out there since Id already heard through the grape vine powell was gonna ban me... so powell must have been out of the loop on that one too cause I don't think he would have talked trash if he knew what I told dave about that computer.... so I figured out a way to remove that burden from me, and put it on you and sirkin.... I threw that shit out on the forum, knowing full well, you guys would stick up for him, and even got death threats in my pm box... so it essentially gave me an alliby(death threats are good) and left you guys with the liability aspect of it.... so now if powell gets popped for the shit on the computer, im as free as a bird and can even point fingers at you guys, and you guys are stuck with the liability of defending someone who looked at that sort of thing... and even went as far as to send out death threats to protect him..... LOL so now the questions you have to ask yourself..... Does brian still need $30k for his medical bills, and whats the goin rate for reporting anonymous federal offence crime, and how long will brian wait for to be showered with appology? and I know just as well as any investigator does that the isp records(that are kept for 2 years cause of the patriot act) will prove 90% of it even if he melts the computer in a fire.... TICK TOCK TICK TOCK TICK TOCK TICK TOCK! so rybs..... how much tick'n and tock'n do you think I have left?
