yeah, if you love riding, you'll keep goin no matter what.... injury, weather, bike problems, money issues, forum haters, whatever comes your way.... you'll find a way to ride through anything if you got the right mindset.... a lot of younger starters just don't have that sense.... the brainwashing and trendyness prevents younger riders from getting that taste for flat....

you saw that dude from south america riding a dumpster bike with no cranks? thats the sense im talkin about!

I rode in a cast(went to the pittsburgh jam years back in a cast), I've rode with full on broken bones, flat tires, I even sessioned at chenga a few times with no cranks or back wheel....

too many of these newer to the sport people seem more so into it just for the image or cause they suck at life and need some people to talk to.... you can see a lot of it over on global.... these guys bitch "my shitty over priced frame broke so I gotta quit"..... well if you were true to the sport, you'd ride whatever and it wouldn't matter.... I've rode other peoples kmart bikes when my bike wasn't ridable....

kmart bikes $99-200, which is a lot cheaper than some single flatland parts alone.... its nice to have access to one as a backup.... for the price you can't really complain.... and you'll find the parts on them some times hold up better to flat, than some of these shit flatland parts floating around...

me n the dudes I ride with risked life n limb driving to chenga in snow storms so bad most people wouldn't even go outside in, let alone drive their car.... snow so bad your car is bulldozing snow all the way up to the hood to make your own lane on the freeway.... all for riding.... and we do it every winter....

Bottom line.... if your a real flatlander, you'll find a way to ride.....

people gotta do what they gotta do... ya know?

YOUTUBE! LOL, the death of flatlands video market..... I don't really see why anyone tries to sell videos anymore with youtube around.... the videos are full of riding everyones seen on the net a 100 times over by the time the video hits the stores...

I think clint majors filmed me almost landing that link at the indy jam I got hurt at.... pretty sure I just didn't ride out of the x-foot hiker part..... not sure what he got on tape in that lil corner and what he didn't.... but he was filming me in the corner during practice.... rad dad may have even seen me workin on that link in the corner....

smooth? hell no.... it was sloppy as all hell.... very shaky cause my legs still not full strength yet.....its not a very long link at all, it's all very wam bam thank you mam, n its over..... it looks longer yped out than it really is.... that whole link would probly only be 10-13 seconds.... most of which would be taken up by the switch foot steam roller ride in....

still though... it was the first time I hit that link in a long time, and there was a point at which I thought I was never going to get a lot of my tricks back...... like whiplash to hang 5, for some odd reason I can't for the life of me get back consistently.....

my x-foot hikers are still shaky as hell....

but its progress none the less...
