grimsleaper Joined: 2008-04-15 Posts: 8 Location:	2 hip soul is my vote, for two reasons, #1, brakes mounted on seat stay rather than chainstay, allows you to go with a smaller drive train easier, (ie,25/9) without running into problems with your chain and brakes clearing eachother. #2 4130 chromoly frame where as the verde says it only has chromoly top and downtubes. But thats based on the info from Dans comp and I don't know how accurite it is, I don't own, nor have I ridden either of those bikes. -grim's leaper
