I've decided to make a common thread here. Every time I fix or add things I'll report them here. I'm not bothering on post-populating this. So we'll start with what I've done today.

7/14/07 Bug Fixes and Avatar Improvements

  • Avatar Enhancement: This is my personal favorite. Now when you click 'Edit Profile' you can upload a file to be your avatar from that page, and one click it does all the work. Try it out!
  • Shoutbox visible only to logged in users. I will soon add a preference for those users who wish to turn this feature off completely. This should help overall site performance considerably.

  • Layout Change: Moved the sidebar from the right to the left side and tightened up some of the elements. This should help users only lower resolutions
  • Reply Functionality: The PM 'reply' feature works much better now.
  • Cleaned up 'Account' box: When logged in, the link box on the right is cleaner and friendlier.
  • PM Display: Private messages should display nicer now.
  • Picture Display: The view picture page is cleaned up. Now links to the uploader's profile and displays avatar.

My second post today. There may be even more later tonight. I'm on a roll.

  • Pedal Exchange Fixed: After a few months of down time, the Pedal Exchange is back, here to stay, and stronger than ever.
  • Plain Links fixed: Urls entered as 'www.pedalbmx.com' in a signature or post were being displayed incorrectly if they had a line break directly afterwards. This has been fixed.
  • Forum View Cleanup: Browsing the forums should now be much more visually pleasing and readable.
  • Post View Cleanup: Viewing posts should also be nicer on the eyes. Removed unnecessary clutter.
  • Further Layout Changes: Played with z-indexing to make sure everything displays when and where it should, with the priorities straight for smaller resolutions.
  • Registration errors: The 'Forgot your Password' link on the registration page now works properly.
  • Lost password cleanup: The lost password page is now much more friendly.
