	hmmm.. tryni to put a 1 1/8 into a 1'' bar?? they sell shims for that type of situation. the problem with them is that you cant more them ANY into the inside bend of the bars. so you it might either not work too well if your bars are narrow. you should probably just try to stuff either really thick rubber in there or maybe sheets of some sort of metal...either way try to get it around the bar not just stuff it one side of the bar and clamp it down with the lever.
