| "First Viewing"...hahahahahaha
There would have only been a first viewing if we weren't lost for 2 hours.
It was rad to watch it on that screen and sound system! www.CFOBMX.ca www.Commongroundbmx.ca www.Ontarioflatland.com www.416south.com Chris Pergentile | |

| hey...it wasnt even close to two hours. We were lost for about half an hour. It wouldve been a hell of a lot longer if I didnt run up ahead and decided to drag everyone with me. But we got cake out of it at least! And just watching percy on the train and streetcar was worth it enough. | |

| The video premiere itself was a HUGE step up from last year's seedy back door bar, but they both have their charms. It was in a theatre at U.o.T on a projection screen. Diversion 6.0 did what it's suppose to do, make me wanna ride in Asia. It just looked like a riders paradise, huge sheltered riding areas WITH parking, inspiring skies, city sky lines, and exotic plantation, very appealing to the eyes. Plus you could always find someone to ride with. There might be a slight language barrier, but everybody knows english for some reason?? i dont know how to use question marks? In bonus there was a little trivia game at the end hosted by Chris and Neela. I got 50 bucks for West 49 for answering one question! And there was a little ASC video at the start, but we came in 1/2 way through. All I remember is watching Chris Pergentile riding in a business suit. Good premiere. Christmas Snake for Lyfe. | |

| Chris, Dave, Grant and myself felt very honored to have presented Bobby's Diversion 6.0. Thank you Mr. Bobby K. Carter. The ASC apart from myself, they didn't know WE had two screenings, and both were great. It was worth having people late. I really liked DIV 6.0 due to the sensibilities displayed on various levels. All are incredible Riders, especially that one particular Flatlander from Japan who is really amazing. His parents, both have the same "disability" (deafness), but their encouragement and strength has made that Flatlander who/what he is....WOW. I take he picked up language from others around him when he was a baby. Also I'm happy with our "little" DVD since it's The ASC's first attempt to capture TD riding with no real budget or takes. NEIL (soild man on wheels) and Jason you make us look good. Many aren't aware but Chris P and Brandon Fenton showed up before 7:00 am, during Toronto Bike Week for a demo at the Toronto City Hall on a very blistering hot day. We all took this day off work, both riders changed clothing, after, we proceeded to go to the TD bank for the ASC Throw Down Challenge and throughout we did not get hassled by security. So Miss. PaulaTx (in regards to screening space, I like your diplomacy, yes, both venues have their Charm, mind you I love CineCycle and what Martin who owns the place represents, he is one Rider with a big heart), if the image of ChrisP in a suit is what strikes, I guess we've done a good job ...HA! I 've always considered the Flatlanders to be the Renaissance Riders or the Suits in BMX....since Flatlanders encompass so much balance and grace when riding and I'm sure this too translates in your day to day lives. I really want to thank CFO BMX: Chris P( ON Flatland Ambassador) and OSD ( those Trivia questions got some of those Baby Flats thinking and get to know their Flatland history) for their encouragement and support as well to all the Ontario Riders, especially Chase, Brandon and TOFlat, Mike Heaton, and Greg the Core Man... good work/heart helps motivate US in The ASC. To the PA judge (so sorry I'm the worst with names but I never forget a face), or anyone interested, get in contact with me. Lets get some Flatland and BMX footage in the Toronto Screening Aug. 07., for the International Bicycle Film Festival. Cheers to all the Flatlanders and BMXERS (The FU comp/series and the Toronto BMX Jam was an awesome step forward for ON Riders) Neela C.
