Is anybody currently riding either the Primo Steriod seat or the KHE Wantabe seat? If so, do either of these have a grippy feel to the seat or are they smooth like old school Viscount seats? I have an old GT plastic seat that is light and has a good feel, but being hard plastic has no grip. Do you think I could spray it with some automotive rubber undercoater and it would work? Thanks.

Well, today I got to watch Trevor Meyer and a coupld of local riders; Max & Joel, session at Trevor's house. Max had the KHE seat. It is hard plastic with no "grip type" feel. The seat is like the old school GT/Viscount type seats. I have two old school GT seats. I'm gonna try spraying one with the rubber undercoater. I'll post the results.

I was reading this and remembered that there is this rubberish material that comes in large rolls that is used on kitchen counters and other spots for stuff not to slip. If you glue some of that material to a plastic seat you would probably get a really good grip.
im using the Primo Gripper Hemroid seat. That s good but its heavy and gets all ripped from grinding the floor.

I use a primo steroid,. its fine ,. grippy enough for anyone,. my hands rarely slip off the seat and its light too, I suggest you try one out since they are very inexpensive.
I have gotten many a funny look from people walking by as I curse at the ground, lol.

I curse the ground too,..

the wantanabe has rubber on the underside back of it for grip.

If your talking about a grippy feel on the actual top of the seet, it's just plastic.

I love the feeling of that rubber strip though.  very comfy
