Hi guys, I just joined here, looking for the place to get the goods on all things street/bmx. I've been a mountain biker since birth and a freerider since college. I just got a 24" bmx bike and I'm looking to upgrade some parts, starting with cranks. I'm trying to build the rig to be a street champ, no grinding beyond pedal grinds, almost more of a street-meets-trials rig. It's an aluminum frame and pretty crappy parts. I just got a sprocket for a steal so cranks are coming first. I also got a phat chain. My questions (finally) is what kind of cranks should I get? I hear that european BB is the way to go. the Fury 24 comes with an american BB, can it be upgraded? or is it based on size? I don't know the diff between the two. Any help?

I think you should get the bottom bracket that fits your frame.

first off the only adavntage of euro bb, is weight, if you have us you can get an adapter but there is no point in your case as with the adapter you not gonna be saving any weight anyway.
