So skaters get a skate park and wat do we get no respect as a sport well i find it more dificult to do a hitch hiker than throwing a base ball. | |

Skaters get a skate park cause there are a lot of them. Most people don't know what a hiker is, they cant respect something if they don't know what it is.  | |

It's always been like that, even in the mid late 80's it was like that. Skaters got the parks and we got McDonalds parking lot. | |

Skateboarding is more accessible. It doesn't cost as much to maintain a skateboard compared to a bike. I like not being understood as well, people think I'm crazy, and it warms the cold cockles of my heart. Don't forget though, it's not a contest. Skaters and bmxers are both alienated by dumb laws, safety lunatics ("don't do that, you might get hurt!"), lawyers, and M.A.D.D. So chll out holmes and just be glad that you are physically able to ride your bike. | |
