	I'm a newb with all this techinical stuff with bikes and I want to replace the freewheel on my Joytech hub. My question is whether the sizes are standard or do manufacturers use slightly different sizes? Because I'm looking at getting an Odessy 13tooth freewheel.

fraust Joined: A long time ago... Posts: 291 Location:	It depends. Look at your hub. If each side has threads on it, you're set, if not, your screwed. Odyssey 13t is a good freewheel, I ride it and it hasn't let me down. Oh yeah, make sure you have a freewheel removal tool.

	^^^ yup, theres 2 sizes one bigger than the other. if it was me id take the wheel off and take it to a bike shop. your going to have to take it off anyway, and even if you want to do it yourself your going to need the tool and theres a couple diffrent ones. a bike shop ill have them for sale. plus alot of shops deal odyssey parts so im sure they could order you a 13t f/w if they dont have it.

	thanks guys, yeah I'm planning on getting this done in the spring, deffinately at a shop since I dont want to buy a tool that Im probably to going to use once. These are the hubs I've got to give more details

	hmmm what size f/w is on there right now? if its a 16, then thast the lowest you can go
