So here are few notes for the layout, well they are kind of suggestions:
1, posts - do you think you could separate the posts somehow, it all just seems to be squashed into one, changing background color would help,it wouldn't be that much confusing

2,move to menu - the one that used to be on the bottom and the top of the each page before, it was very useful and you could switch fast between forums

3,quotations - same with the posts, they kinda seem to be lost in the text

maybe these things are being worked on idk, just trying to help. maybe if each user could customize by himself it would be even better.

Thank you very much for the feedback! The posts will be separated greatly in the near future, mainly using colored backgrounds.

I had not thought of adding the Move To menu, that's a great idea and I will do it ASAP, thank you!

I am aware of the problems with quotes, and will be working on it. It is basically the same problem as BBCode is having now.

I have considered customizable views, and in the future I may add drag and drop capabilities to the red blocks on the right side of the page.

You're supposed to be able to stay logged in for 4 days as it is now, but apparently the cookies are expiring or something.

You will be able to change your username, once I figure out how to not let you steal someone else's.

PM's are coming soon I promise, there's just a lot of them and they all need to be migrated 1 by 1.

why dont you just use a forum driven with phpbb like so: http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo.php so much simpler. looks good. loads fast. works in old browsers. works in opera. had some pretty good discussions on here now its all frelled up. yadda yadda yadda nobody cares about flashy gfx. we just wanna see the data (ie posts). IS the site owner so broke that you cant afford hosting fees? why all the endless adverts? just follow these guidlines when creating a website: Keep it simple

pinchy: I hate to say this, but shut the fuck up.

A: Pedal used to run on phpBB, we switched from it for various reasons. If you want a pre-packaged boring solution, there's plenty of sites offering a clean phpBB install, hell you can even get hosting for a free one.
B: Endless adverts? Have you ever been to like, MySpace, BMXBoard, or any other site? If this is endless adverts, then I'm surpised you use the internet at all.
C: YES! I am that broke. Just so you know, this site racks up hundreds of dollars of server bills EVERY MONTH. I'm lucky if I don't lose money, and any extra money goes straight into producing free stickers and merchandise that I GIVE AWAY. I do this because I enjoy it, and because it gives the BMX community a place to thrive.
If you can't deal with a few advertisements in exchange, then you should go ahead and e-mail me, and we'll discuss payment options for upgrading to PedalPlus (which turns off the ads). Otherwise, if you won't pay $2/mo for that, and you still don't like the ads, then my suggestion would be to: get the hell off the internet! The internet is run on ads, it's a cold hard fact. This site would not be online if it wasn't for the ad revenue being generated that pays for the server.
D: This is simple. phpBB and similar solutions that you suggest are actually MORE complicated, and have bunches of extra useless shit. If you know these website guidelines so well, how to design a functional website so well, and how to run a website without ads, then why the hell are you here? Go start your own, clean, ad-free website. See how long you last.
