hey everyone, i came to a decision that sometime, in the near time i hope im gonna switch bars, and i can't decide between these 2:

the Suelo 9 butt bars:
http://www.flatlandfuel.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=849786%7C889265&PRID=1561868

positives: very narrow bar, very light (540grams!), the geometry and height i wanted, zero sweep.
negatives: colors kinda strange (can get over with tho), might need to do the stem modifications, 115$ to get to my house.

The hoffman momentum handlebar:
http://www.flatlandfuel.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=849786%7C889265&PRID=1460336

positives: 63$ to get to my house, zero sweep.
negatives: sharp things sticking out in the tube that connects to the stem (i have that on my bars, it sucks big time), width: 24 inch!!! huge!, heavier then the suelo, and geometry that i don't like.

help appreciated alot  :-)

so in other words, a bar your not to fond of, but i half the price, or orthe suelos which you do like but are double the price of the others, well nearly, it comes down to this really, are you willing to spend the extra to get what you actually want or to save the cash, and get something that you don't quite connsider correct for yourself.

i would say the suelos are the bars i ever dreamed of  :-D

oh ok, wait do you mean your dad will buy you the bars :? :-D
if thats the case, i'd say try and chip a few dollars in maybe and get the better ones.
If you just mean the only money you recieve is from working for your dad and shit then yeah i see your problem, it's a real pain, i'm not quite sure sure what we can tell you, if you can only afford the hoffmans, then i ccan't really see us posting anythin about the seulo's, of any use?, if it's a matter of you might be able to sort out the extra, and want advice to help decide if the extra cash is worth it for you?ae the extra i'm not sure

ok, the pictures of there don't do the hoffman bars justice, i had a pair awhile ago, when i got them, i dind't know what kind of bars i wanted. these were perfect. execpt, they were cut too much when i got them

they're really high quality and SUPER light, i thought i was gonna bust these in two days they were so light. at that price , they're a steal.

ps, those things on the side are reaaaly tiny. you won't even notice them.

i say get the hoffmans.

Me to. I totally dig the feeling of hard graphite on my asshole.

I would suggest getting the odyssey barmitzvahs.  Its a good compromise between the two bars (lighter than the momentums and stronger :? than the suelos in a nice 2 piece style) and they have a lifetime guarantee.  They are also on sale on flatland fuel.  I have the barmitzvah lows and they are my favorite bars.

hmm ill try looking into that.

NeilG: the suelo bars are way narrower then the hoffman, and if you think hoffmans are light then you should try the suelos... they are noted at 540 grams..

My question is: should i go for bar mitzvah's or for the hoffmans and have extra cash for other parts, or use all the cash on the bars?
