	Man, for some reason the other day I got the urge to pull my bike out of the shed and ride it again. I went through a bunch of phases like paintball, nitro RC cars, then my real car which all pretty much overshadowed my flatland riding. Well I've sold all my PB crap a long time ago, I sold the Camaro because it's way too expensive to insure(and I got a ticket.. doh!), and I still do the 1/8 nitro buggy racing but that's just a one Saturday a month sort of thing. I was here back when everybody first migrated to the Pedal BMX boards from Backlash BMX since "Nev" I believe couldn't do it any longer. Well. I guess I'm glad I never sold off my bike because it's been a lot of fun relearning all the tricks I had down like 4 years ago or something. Are there any other Virginia Beach guys still around? Last I remember one guy named Matt got busted for dealing drugs or something, Chris P. had some problems and was in the hospital for a long time, Drew got enlisted to the army, and Mike went off to college. In case nobody knows I was the one who organized all of the Virginia Flatland Jams years ago. Did anybody else ever pick up and have more? -Tony (aka formerly "flatlander_14") -Tony

	GOOD.............seriously. Yeah, its been pretty shitty around here lately. My arthritis is back in full fuckyou mode, and i haven't ridden since last december 29th. Chuck is getting married in like, 6 days, but never rides cause, nobody to ride with. Last time i talked to john, hes too busy with work, and bills, and engaged, so, he doesn't ride too much. Ed Joined the Marines, Drew joined the Army and I believe is in Iraq right now. Yeah, matt went to jail i believe. Ummm... yeah, that about sums it up. Theres still a shitload of street riders out here, but, as for flatlanders, its pretty nill till i get better i guess. Hopefully you can get something going, and maybe get a few people riding again. And like ChyoD say, 4 years, damn, you deserve to be smacked in the head, haha. Proud Member of team "Meat Curtains"

	Ha, yeah but I think everything has ended up for the better though. I'm working at Hall VB Dodge now as an intern through my Votech program... Will be a line tech as soon as I graduate. I got all the prerequisites taken care of so now I've gotta convince the boss to send me to Detroit for a week so I can become a Viper Specialist :-D edit: Forgot to add today I went down to the Kmart on General Booth(where we held the first VA Flatland Jam) and rode for a couple hours. Been trying to hold megaspins more than 1 spin. I got 2 a couple times... My goal is to consistently nail 3 spins before 2007. -Tony

	Man, it's like a drug... keeps pulling you back. I was out for about 3 years(well i rode street still, but not often). then i shot my knee out(jump gone wrong) so i came back to flat for good. I actually have found that learning new(or new to me at least) tricks, has been easier than relearning some of the older stuff i've done before.

I have been browsing rc car action at the magazine stores though, and they have some awesome fucking new 1/18 nitro cars and shit coming out. I was heavy into that RC Nitro car crapolla too. I built a custom track 60' x 120' on my land with rythum sections, doubles, 20' tripples, and whoops, 8' to 12' wide lanes, perimeter lights for nightime - the whole 9 yards. I gave it all up! It was robbing my bank clean! All the constant broken this broken that and waiting for weeks for parts to arrive. I just got sick of that. Racing that thing around the track though was super super fun and totally addicting just like flatland.

	I have fond memories of riding with the VA Beach crew at a jam back in the summer of '02. I was so stoked to see so many young riders so into flatland. I hoped they would all keep it going, but I knew as they got older most of them would get into other things. Welcome back, Tony.
