free coaster is the last thing u need, unless u r a big backwheeler, but get major things, like bars, and forks, and stem... or just use ur shit.. it will work! and get 80 psi tires or higher

i rode a GT BUMP for flatland for about 6 months which in no way is meant for flatland. flatland parts only help but ive seen flatland done on cycle bikes, and also mountain bikes, i would just throw a few parts on there to make it a little easier.

I used to ride street. when i got my flatland bike everything seemed easier. i think it was because of the smaller frame. i could be wrong tho. i love haveing a smaller frame.

you could still do things on your street bike

Got a few names for you:
Joel Moody
Tom Haugen
Rob Nolli
These guys are my favorite riders and I don't really ride street, but they dabble in flat, and don't need a flat frame/parts to do it. I'd suggest learning tricks on the pedals if you can so you can get more fluid at street riding. i.e. pedal hang fives, one foot manuals, etc.
