	VULTURES!!!! At the mighty Union Hills we used to have vultures...people who would circle the area waiting till the jumps were done, then dive in. As mentioned earlier in the thread, one solution was to turn everything into doubles. That made the jumps scary enough that I wouldnt even jump them, but all the other guys were alright. Also, build them STRONG. Once the jumps got too scary for me to jump I would tailtap, nosepick and even icepick the lips sometimes. I would get dirt thrown at me but the lips would hold up Third, secrets are gay. You may as well put on some girl pants and 3/8 axles if you are going to have secret jumps. What do you suppose people will think of guys who go off together in secret and roll around in the dirt? You need "insurance". Insurance means a tough little bastard kid in every age group that will wail the tar out of any miscreant that messes up your jumps. Kits on moutainbikes casing our lips w/ their huge sprockets, old dog walking lady's taking them apart because they look dangerous. Someone said to make them huge and intimidating, It's been done, usually the kids just get mad that they cant ride them and destroy them to spite us. Last time this happened to us about a year and a half ago in a new spot, some kid kept coming back and started to leave like calling cards and everything. he'd throw our chairs in the river and all sorts of shit. So i had a buddy of mine, who was out of school, and freakin jacked wait for the kid behind a tree, when the kid inevitably showed up he chased him all the way back to his house and he never came back. that was that now you try, (the best way to scare em is to catch them in the act)

If they found them so quickly then it's not hidden enough. Find places that people never think of going. Including you. Pipelineaudio doesnt get the point of trails being secret. It's because of things like the reason this bulletin was posted. So you dont have a bunch of little bastards ruining them. Secret trails arent about just rolling in the dirt in tight pants with a couple friends. It's a place were you have your privacy. You can bring a few friends and have a session while the local skatepark is packed. No skaters hastling you. A good place to film. If only a handfull of people know about them, then the longer they will exist. Unless the property is sold. If you have a buttload of little kids going there. They will get hurt and go tell there parents. The parents will get scared that the kids will go back and get hurt again, so they complain about them. Then guess what happens. THEY GET TORN DOWN! So pipeline. Get a few friends who are willing to take a month to dig in the winter. Build a couple sets of trails. Like 10-12 jumps in each set. Have them cross eachother and whatnot. Ride them with a few friends. See how it feels to accomplish building something so unique. Keep it to yourself. If people ask where they are. Dont tell em. Tell em to build there own. Cuz then you get kids altering the jumps.
