It really is funny how in different parts of the country they call it pop, or soda, or in some places all carbonated beverages called a coke(even if it is a pepsi, sprite, or rootbeer)....

:-D In Oz, it's usually known as 'soft drink' or 'fizzy drink'... or just by the name,... sprite, coke, fanta, etc..

My dad says "soft drink". Don't know why, he's the only one I've ever heard say it other than my grandfather(dad's dad).

if all you guys could only hear me n matt's a hoe talk. we have "philly accents" i.e., we pronounce water wood-er rather than wah-ter, or i say jimmy's instead of sprinkles. theres a whole plethora of apparently weird dialect shit we speak with and it seams everyone i meat outside of pa seems to notice it right away.

Thats how it is here in Texas.

People ask you what kind of coke you want. A common response is Dr. Pepper.

and I really want to see a mexican guy with a philly accent. I would shit myself with laughter.

My great aunt from Missouri came out to ohio and went to the store with my mom... she asked for my mom to get her some soda, and my mom brought her some arm and hammer baking soda....

haha
i was being sarcastic and pointing out how evryone says it different,
i really don't care
yea but i think accents are hard to understand often.
my uncle moved to N.C. a while ago, and he's a cop, and he said one time someone on the radio said  a suspect was a black male with an orange tobogan on his head. haha
a tobogan is a sled here in ny, but apparantly down south its a do-rag.
i've never heard anyone say jimmy's haha. idk i like my unaccented accent. its just normal pronunciation w/out any real fancy words.

give the doorman a fucking high-five
