pretty idiotic if u ask me, and texas walker ranger is a shitty show that became popular to the pc gaming nerds, ( i guess ur one of them). And if u hadnt said anything about my hair, i doubt anyone would have said anything. And u see how it feels to go to a store and have ppl watch u, or not pay attention to you, or show u cheap things because they think you have no money, or think that you are dumb because the color of your skin, or base what you are about on stereotypes. Just stfu, stop riding ppls forum dicks, keep dumb comments to yourself, and ride a bit more. Maybe u can see a brighter side of life, and stop trying to make yourself seem cool on a forum, because i doubt anyone cares to meet you in real or me for that matter so why try to impress


So i guess this point in the thread is said and over with but i want to point something out with this post....

Yes, I am a white kid, but i do know how it feels to be like that... Its not always the color of your skin, its the way you carry yourself.

My step dad is a big black guy... I am 100 percent serious, he is about 300 pounds, 6 foot 3, and used to play semi-pro football. Had full rides on football scholarships to colorado and michigan. Well, when he goes to a place, the way he dresses, and the way he acts, he doesnt recieve that reaction that you talk of. My cousins are all the same way. They do not wear pants around their ass, they dont wear wifebeaters as a normal shirt, they dont have airforce ones, they dont fill the sterotype.

When they enter a place, a person sees another person, not a potential theif, or a cheap-ass.

I am not saying this will end if the way people carry themselves changes, i am sure there still going to be sterotypes, but dont say that other people dont feel your opression.

I have been though 2 years of college so far and am so far into the schooling i should be able to graduate a semester eairly. I have gotten great grades my entire life, teachers, parents, and friends love me... But the day i got a mohawk, really opened my eyes to things. You are treated a lot different by the way that you look, dress, and carry yourself. Service at restrants is slower because they think you are some punk reject kid, people just think different of you because of the way that you appear.

The only reason why i cut my mohawk, was because it was going as far as making my own parents look bad, and i didnt want that...

Again, dont say that its because of your skin color that you cannot get something or achieve something. That is such a fall back, I have family members that claim that all the time, and they are going nowhere in life, yet their siblings are all well educated, top of the chain, hard working individuals.

and, holy shit. time to find a job in the carpentry buisness. I always thought workers like that made shitloads. Example, you have a guy install your carpet. Its like $1000 for the carpet and labor, the carpet is like $500 and labor is like $500 but the dudes work for about 2 hours. Insane $ per hour. Not shure how busy your are though. I need a job next summer. Anyone in austin wanna hire a unskilled teenager?

Not a carpet layer, a carpenter. I build commercial buildings.
