(In no particular order)

Jason Forde
Simon O'Brien
Keelan Philips
Martti Kuoppa
Alex Jumelin
Alexis Desolneux
Fernando
Raphael Chiquet
Mike S
James Smith
Michael Sommer
Frank Lucas
Lee Musselwhite
Benjamin GroBjohann
Mirek (Czech chap)
Sam Foakes
Effraim Catlow

If I missed anyone sorrrrrrreeeeee.

Props to all the guys for riding all through the weekend - the hottest London weekend of the year so far I think.

Some words of impression from Saturday:

Very bouncy bright white (not good in sunshine) floor. Come on Sprite Urban Games do fuckin better..
Alex J quite rightly trying to destroy said floor on Sat evng
Alex J dancing in pants
Heavy handed Games management trying to close down the flatland final right in the middle of Martti's final run. Not good..
Phil Dolan and the rest of the judges having to pull together the scores outside the event because as soon as the last run was over everyone was ejected..
Rip off ticket price (£20)
No big screen to watch the footie despite all the press saying there would be
All the riders pullin some heavy shit despite the heat and the floor
Mister Mouth soundtracking Frank Lowcash's qualifying run. Nice...

Anyone got any views on how Sunday was?

andy,

during marttis final run, think was 1 min 30 left, the security wanted the event shutdown, i was mc'ing at the time, and myself and chris just kept arguing, turned the music down slightly, the music had to be turned off by 8, residential area and all that, was just a lil bit heavy handed, martti finished his run at 8.03, hardly think that was bad.
hopefully the organisers can get the floor right how it was the previous year, if it broke dont fix it...(so true!)

The qualifier's happened at the hottest part of the day and alot of the riders were suffering a bit from the effects of the heat. I was thinking that Simon would be least affected but in fact Martti, the man who comes from the coldest country out of all those there, was the one who seemed least affected!.... well I suppose Travis Collier (whoops missed him out of the list above, I KNEW I'd forgotten somebody..) couldn't have been bothered either: he was wearing tight black jeans and a woollen hat!!! The impression I got though is that Martti is just super dialed at the moment.. he exudes total confidence in every link he goes for.

Let me say that Martti kicked ass but..... u guys should have seen the shit he was doing sunday morning when just me and him at the bouncy spot, my mind is blown, i feel lame compared to martti, i think hes miles ahead of what ive seen so far this year, craziness...talk about motivation to ride, much respect to martti coming back from a serious injury the way he has!!!

great for flatland!
