| My girlfriend just bought Guitar Hero for Playstation 2, and damn is it addicting! Anyone have it/played it? I love playing the Helmet and MegaDeth songs! I've only been at it for a week now, I can beat most of the levels on medium. I watched a friend beat 'Bark At the Moon" by Ozzy on Expert without screwing up, and like barely paying it any attention. But he doesn't ride so he has time to do these kind of things, lol. fav. song? comments? -South New Jersey Flatland- ![]() | |

| This is one of my favourite games ever. Cowboys From Hell ... Pantera Godzilla ... Blue Oyster Cult More Than a Feeling ... Boston Caveman Rejoice ... The Bags (Its a bonus song, you'll see why I love it when you get it) Wait for GH2 first on Ps2, but they talk about releasing it on Xbox 360 with Live support, imagine the game being over and being able to download more songs. | |

| I really dig Godzilla, Fly on the Wall, Sail Your Ship By, and Frankenstein. Trippolette is badass too. The Expert charts are fun but..the game is too easy. I hope that GH2 is harder. | |

| Yeay deffinitly, the game goes from being incredibly difficult from easy - medium levels, but once you hit medium you are getting far more familiar with moving your hand so hard isn't such a big jump. Then after playing Hard for a day at most, expert is the same damn thing except you play out all the notes correctly, instead of the sort of nerfing they do to the notes on hard. Example would be if it is 2 chords followed by a power cord, it would just do 3 cords instead, but on expert they will give you the 2 cords and a power cord. But now if I play on hard or medium, instead of expert I can't play for shit because I'm not playing out all the notes or I'm being forced to play them incorrectly for the sake of a learning curve. I can't wait for GH2 for an updated guitar peripheral, compared to the quality now, and the quality of my controler when the game released, mine is a peice of crap. Its overkill but I think they should make like a 30 button version of the game. Representing the 5 fret buttons and 6 strings. It would deffinitly add a lot more challenge and fun for the some of us that already play guitar and want extra, or for the people that can kill guitar hero just naturally. | |

| Haha, I was just happy that it had 5 buttons. Guitar Freaks had *MUCH* better music, but only having 3 buttons made a lot of the charts just really...annoying. I'm still a little pissed off that Guitar Hero so blatantly ripped off Guitar Freaks, but the game is more fun to play, so I'm not complaining. | |

| Yeah, I picked GH up about 2 weeks ago and everyone at home LOVES IT! Even my gf who swears she hates video games finds herself in front of my tv/ps2 playing that game for more than an hour. She's gotten pretty good at it too. I'd love to pick up a 3rd party guitar controller too and try out the 2-player mode...although, I heard they just made the game easier that way. | Anyone who likes music games and isn't afraid of playing he game with the steepest learning curve in existence, pick up some of the Beatmania 2DX games. You'll need to import them, but it's nowhere near as bad now that they released Beatmania US for like, 70 dollars with a controller. Back when I started like 4 years ago I had to pay like 120 to import the controller by itself :( The american mix is a good intro to the series if you've never played, but it really pales in comparison to like, 6th Style and 10th Style. Konami just doesn't want to give america the good songs :P | |
