rossk;

I appreciate your efforts for trying to start a new BMX community, as many of the forums that are on the topic of BMXing, bring in tons of new riders every day. By starting a new site like this, it shows your true determination for making this sport even better. There are a few things though, that you have to take into consideration before starting a website like that.
The first one, is that you have to relize that to start an all new BMXing community, you need to already know people, people who see your website as something with true potential, one thats different from other websites. It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to bring in new people to a website, simply by posting on a forum, especially, when your website stands at only two members.
The next one, is that you should finish a website, making it just the way you like it, and add all the extras, BEFORE putting it online. Make sure that you have an attractive website, with lots of "goodies" on it, for instance, on pedal, we have a wiki.
When you are set with all of this, you need to make a reputation for yourself. You need to get your name, aswell as your websites name out there, other then posting on a forum. Go to jams and such, and tell people about it, let them know what you are doing. Nick Busey, the owner of pedal, is pretty darn well known. Ask him how he started up pedal, and how he got it to where it is, im sure that he would be more then willing to help you out.
You might also want to sign up for pedals exchange program. Its a small ad, that appears on many BMX websites, and can potentially do a lot to increase the traffic to your website.

yeh, get your site running well with content for people to look at before you put it up and tell people about it, there isnt much there to do, so people leave the site and dont come back.
