| I have done two things that I believe will completely end the spam attack the PedalPedalWiki has recently fallen victim too. I added a simple arithmetic turing test that must be solved before any edit will go through, and I added a bit of code that makes outgoing links on the wiki useless to search engines. These two things combined, plus my vigilant observation will hopefully end the flow of spam. Unfortunately, I've only plugged the leak, we've already taken on a lot of water. I've been going through and rolling back pages to their last spam-free version, using "#DESPAMMED" as the Edit Summary. I (and I'm sure many other people) would be very appreciative if you guys could help out in this matter, and do the same to any spam you find. I want to bring the Wiki back, and make it a true repository for all BMX knowledge, that's a big task so let's get to work! :) - Nick Busey ![]() | |
