Plans are in the works to organize a huge competion in London. What do i meen by huge? Well, it will last 3 days over mai24 weekend. Fri jam starts at 9:00am until 11:00pm. Sat. qualitying for ameteur, expert,and pros. Sun finals. Purses we are currently shooting for will be as follows: Ameteur 1st 500.00, 2nd 250.00, 3rd 100.00. Expert 1st 1500.00, 2nd 1000.00, 3rd 600.00. Pros. 1st 5000.00, 2nd 2500.00, and 3rd 1600.00. there will over 1000.00 in door prizes. Entry fees for competitors will be 50.00 for ameteurs, 100.00 for expert and 150.00 for pros. Every one must pre-register. If you just want to jam the cost for 2 days is 25.00. Spectator fee 5.00per day kids under 10 free or 10.00 for 3days. It will be held at the Forest City Velodrome. It's were i ride all the time. It's and arena. The club fully supports all flatlanders, and all of the London bike shops and there suppliers have been waiting a long time for this to happen. Check it out at www.forestcityvelodrome.com. We are currently waiting for your feedback. This is something we want to do every year. We want this event to be as popular the toronto metro jam. I do not want flatland to always be put on the back burner whenever a major bmx event happens. This comp.will always be for dedicated flatlanders. It's time to put flatland back on the map and back in the mags. Comps like this will give riders more reasons to continue to do what they love and get paid for it. The more people see the exposure flatlanders get and payouts they can receive, the more riders we will get involved. What do you think? I will keep you in the loop once all the info is in. All info will be ready in time for the Metro Jam.
