well the story is, i've had a 3rd generation ipod for a while. i used it til the batteries stopped holding a charge. When i took it in to get the battery changed, the servicer just gave me an entirely new 3rd gen ipod out the box.

i realized that i don't really use it so now its for sale!
does not come with earbuds (i broke the actual ones, and the ones i have are too expensive for anybody to want to pay for).
comes with firewire and charger.
no warranty, no applecare. not color, not photo, not video

battery works perfect, it's only 2 weeks old.

if you want a "new" old ipod let me know.
i'll let it go for $150 plus shipping, but local pickups preferred.
