does anybody use these? I wondered if they are any good and if they stay tight. being plastic, can you tighten them down enough to keep the chain tight. If they aRE tightened too much will they crack? do they last? let me know what you think :D thanks!

i could be wrong but im almost positive 89%, anyway, i believe the dum chuck is a light metal peg (like the aluminum 1's) then they have it coated for better sliding, i could be wrong. anyways, it should stay on good, if u grind on the left side of your bike if might come off, but in a park they have metal on lots of things and i never have any of problems with my GT pegs, so yeah. if u grind on your right hand side, the pegs will remain snug. also, if u have dum-chucks, DO NOT USE THEM FOR STREET!! i know this is obvious, but i wouldnt want to ruin good pegs ever land too much on your front tire on dirt trails doing rhythem jumps then when the next 1 came u put your front tire in the hole and did a faceplant....well i have

DO NOT USE THEM FOR STREET!! i know this is obvious, but i wouldnt want to ruin good pegs how long would they last for street? about a week or less? would they slide and grind better than steel pegs in those few days? just curious, not that I would do that. thanks for the replies!
