I was so stoked today as I pulled my very first Decade ever!!! It was supposed to be my very first trick I was going to learn back in 1986..almost 20 years ago. Today I DID IT!!!!!!

Video and Gallery siting on www.bmxfreestyler.com

I am so Pumped up!!!! You will be able to tell in the video..hahaha

Thanks to Jim McMcay for shooting and giving me the tips and motivation to keep on trying them. I was only going to try 3 times. He said..come on Mark your too close now to stop!!!

Keep on Riding!!

Thanks Guys..yea its a good feeling!!! But you know whats funny. After I calmed down a bit. I thought I would try another one. I didn't do it..but It was much closer than my other failurers and felt easy. I did land on the top tube the second and third time I just didn't hit the pedal...I know there will be a second one and a third and a fourth..hehehe..I am just so glad I got my first one in....and on TAPE no less to share with everyone. Progression does come even to a 37 year old guy on a bike..hahah

Ive gotta bite the bullet and learn em. This post settles it. ive just gotta think, "its only a boomerang with the front in the air".

Was it mostly a mental thing?

That's awesome Mark! Congrats! That's such a great reaction for a great guy who motivates me and reminds me that old guys kick ass too! HA! ;)

So, what's that? Hang5s...now decades? Definitely progress. Keep it up. Those tricks can only get easier at this point.

So if I may ask, what's your next trick to conquer? :)
