^your a flat lander? your brakes might be set up so they feather without locking, street riders usally like realy touchy breaks (dont anybody call me on this, i said usally ), I learned hoping with 2 fingers on the lever (index and middle, ring and pinky on the bars) then later once i got better at riding and at adjusting my brakes i learned it with one finger. one finger you will have more grip on the bars and less grip on the brakes, 2 you have less grip on the bars. i ride with one finger on the brake lever at all times now. after a while you get acustomed to hopping etc with one finger on the breaks. Personally I use one and it works out nicely. Dance like you're going to save the whales, you fucking hippies. ![]()

If you are going to try on a curb, wheelie into the hop rather than hopping your front tire over the curb. Wheelie the front wheel over and hop just enough to get the back tire up. There's no excuse for being a dickhead.
