I just learned these tricks: Fork wheelie, Hang-5 about 10 parking spaces, brakeless firehydrant, 1 handed hang-5,steams forward and backwards. Also I am about to land whiplashes, brakeless sqeakers, lardyards, im so close! oh yeah, and Carl Krusers. I just thought I would share this with you guys. For one year of ridding and learning these tricks im really happy for myself.

Is this good for only a year of riding?

"good" is not really that adequate of a descriptive word to use here. good is a value statement, it is relative.
if i were to learn stepovers in a season, would that be "good"?, even if it takes me a week to learn every other trick i do?
if someone else was to learn/ dial hang 5's in a month, compared to maybe it takes them 2 months to learn every other trick, would that be "good"?
its all relative.
people progress at different speeds.

but anyway, enough of that, now i answer your question.

HELL YEAH THATS GOOD!!! hahahaha

yeah.. ive been working on hang 5's for this whole season, and so far ive only learned the do them for maybe 3 parking spaces at the most..
theyre a bitch haha
whereas i learned ashtrays in like 2 tries, and i pretty much learned fire hydrant whips in 3 hours.. just gotta land back on the tire haha, which is probably the hardest part

its all relative.

but yeah, i think im rambling on here, hope i didnt come off as an asshole or anything haha

jayson man, i hope you have fun with hang 5's, they're hard, and yeah, id say that compared to what i was doing after one year of riding youre doing well.

now go ride. make sure you wear black pants if you plan on busting out, it helps you ride better

I have been working on Hang 5s for about 6 months and still got to feather the front brake a lot!

but I prefer to practice spinning tricks, like fork wheelie frame stand spinning at high speed.

It´s very difficult for me to do rolling tricks, It´s good to hear that you already got Hang 5s, good job.

You know you're good when you don't go on the internet to brag about how average you are after a year of riding.

Oh, good idea, shoot him down when it's starting to feel good to ride. Very encouraging.

You're going along nicely, man. Keep working. Keep having fun doing it. Don't get pissed trying to do something, because later on when you get it you'll feel silly about being pissed off about it before. See if you can find other clichéd "encouraging" slogans that fit in here, most of them make sense.

Damn I can't roll a hang 5 more than 2 or 3 spaces MAX! I guess I can do other things well though. But thats hot man, seriously keep it up, its great to hear people progressing so fast even if Im not. I guess it means I should stop typing this shit and go ride eh? Anyways Im off to practice something, Ive been dying to get Fire-hydrant whips to squeakers-tailwhip out to side squeak maybe today is the day.
