I have both a profile and odyssey cassette... I prefer cassettes b/c they engage quicker and they usally make less tight spots in the chain b/c freewheels have more play in the -- usually.

Cassettes are normally louder-- ACS freewheels can be loud though... Freewheel hubs tend to be cheaper though.... also freewheels can only go down to 13t (Odyssey FW) whereas cassettes can go down to 9t cogs so you can run micro gearing.. Cassettes are somewhat harder to work on because you can take them apart.. freewheels are just one big piece... .if a freewheel breaks you just buy a new one.
