personally im not going to get a flesh tunnel done, im slowly guaging the size of my ear up. but if you want to get the tunnel done, get it done at a shop because the process is kinda intricat. They pretty much punch a hole in your ear, they dont bother stretching it, because stretching will simply tear the hole in your ear and that would be no good. it kind of follows the principle of square hole, round peg. You can always force the hole to shape the peg, but the easier way would be just to cut the damn thing to fit the peg :D | |

just start at the size your at now, which is probably a 20 or 18 if your wearing normal studs, then by a size 16 studs and push them through, wait a week or two, then put in size 14, wait, 12's, wait 10's and so on til your the right size. that's how i did it before i took them out. and by flesh tunnel im obviously assuming guages.  | |

how big do you wanna go? my friend right now is at 1/2 inch.. i think its a pretty good size, id personally never go that big, i think 0 is good.. cuz u can make earings outta pens :D ]  | |

i'm slightly over 3/4" right now, and i reccomend that you do it very slowly and gradually, i spent 2 years to get to where i am, if you go too fast you more or less just keep tearing your ear, whereas if you go slow you stretch it, you have to let your lobe fully heal between stretchs | |

You can probably start with a 14, thats what I did. Then go up a guage after about a month or when you can pull on it and it doesn't hurt or anything. I was up to a 10 but now I'm back down to just regular studs.  | |

I was up to a 10 but now I'm back down to just regular studs. And you can double up with small gauge jewelry to make bigger gauges. Stuff with weight will "sag" your ear over time opening up the hole. In the US, I think we usually call it "gauging" your ears. yeah....its the same everywhere, flesh tunnels are like plugs..but theyre hollow forming a tunnel...through flesh. thus! Flesh Tunnel! | |
