I use full offset forks. It gives me more room for side squeaks, or something. | |

So guys who ride full offset,besides room for side squeaks, what does it help you with? Rolling stuff?

the only person i know who rides full offset forks is like 32 year old, been riding since 86. and just cant change from regular to minimal. he thinks it would be easier for alot of his tricks but he cant do it.

i use a stock GT FS fork, they have about 25/30mm offset. is that more than minimal offset.

yea ive done both and switched a few times. Some tricks are easier with normal offset, but I find the overall effect of minimal to be the best. I really dont like how normal offset feels whenever the front end is reveresed(bars backwards)... and thats where minimal offset really shines, because you still get the effect of having the offset, but its not such a drastic change from bars forward to backwards. I guess I just pointed out the obvious, but whatevers. | |

I think 18mm is minimal. I think pat told me the Odyssey and suelos were both 18mm, and that those were considered mimimal.
