Joined: Posts: Location:	My parents are soooooooooooooo over protective, I can't take it anymore. (well my dad mostly) Last week I set up the bench press and used it. The next day I saw the weights were taken off, so I asked why someone took them off. My dad said, "You shouldn't be lifting weights, you're too young and its bad for you." I'm a freshman, almost everyone I know takes weight training at school. We had a weight lifting unit last year. Now I have to resort to lifting dumbells in my room. I started to jog in the morning. This morning my dad started asking me all of these questions, like where you've been and why you've been gone for so long. I was gone for 30 minutes :roll: Now he says I can't jog anymore. And I can't even walk my dog after dark at night, Wtf? There's so much stuff, literally everytime one of my friends wants to take me somewhere he says no. When I was invited to go snowboarding they said no. When I wanted to get a skateboard they said no, too dangerous. Like wtf? I don't even know what to sayyyyyyyy

	talk to them about it. inform them you arent a little kid anymore (even thought you are a kid technically). Let them know you want to lift weight, hell tell them if you dont lift weights someone might beat you up and you wont stand a chance so youll get really hurt.
