| okay question for girls who ride flat...
i'm trying to get out of wheelchairs, and am looking for easy ways... guys are always like, "here this is how i learned it, this is easy" and i want to hit them over the head with my bike... because they all have about 5 years on top of me riding. so how do you get out of wheelchairs..? Right now i'm trying to pull out to a funky chicken then out to a steamroller... Adam and Rebecca Pergentile

| hehe, well im not a lady but i may be able to help ya
when i was learning them, i did it to a switch hand steam. the way i do it is from the wheelchair, holding the seat with my left hand, switch to my right hand, then pop my leg over the bars and catch the bar. the trick in this is to lean the frame a certain way. kinda like a one handed steam. hope this helped ya any rebecca, keep trying, dan --------------------------------------------------- He who follows the crowd, Will go no further than the crowd. | Id recommened asking smay...
he just recently learnt how to land out of wheelchairs.. From an observers point of view.. Hed glide the wheelchair...scuff a bit so slow down... give it a kick and kinda push down hard on his foot while stopping... and leaning the frame to the side... and then grabbing the bar through his legs and pulling it into a funky chicken.. then from there hed do fw steam...to pedals. | Although I have no answers to your question, I do have an opinion about guys giving advice.
When I was learning to do tailwhips Quinn kept telling me that I REALLY had to swing the bike around with my leg, REALLY kick it hard. But in the end, that wasn't even my problem. For me it was more about planting a firm foot on my front wheel. Also, guys have a different center of balance in their bodies than girls do. Guys level out around the waist or so, while girls have their center of balance right at their navel. Ladies learning from watching guys ride isn't always the best idea, because it's not going to translate the same. That's why more girls should ride, carring the load all together will make progressing easier! Christmas Snake for Lyfe.

| Umm The Way I Get Out Of Them , Is The Same Way I Get Into Them.
As Your Doing A Fork Wheelie, And Stepping Over The Head Tube Of The Frame, Then You Start Scuffing It!. Then Right Befor You Drop The Frame Down, You Hit It With One Hard Good Scuff, And Drop The Rear Tire To The Ground, And Bring Your Scuffing Foot On Top Of The Head Tube!... Then Right Away Let Go Of The Seat And Grip Onto Your Grip!... And Try To Control The Frame While Rolling Forward, And Step Over The Head Tube, And Start Kicking The Front Tire So You Could Start Rollin Your Fork Wheelie. But I Highly Recommend Doing it Fast, If You Take To Might Time On Trying To Control The Frame, Your Not Going To Pull It. And At First It Might Feel Hard!, But After A Few Trys You Will Start Getting The Feel Of It.. And Pretty Much,, Afterwards It Will Become Easie!. Anyways Good Luck! `Silver~ Love Peace And Chicken Grease
