i bought a new wheel for my bmx but the hub bolt on bits on yhe sides are to small for my bmx wheelfitting bit could i  get a big washer on it to make it cover the wheelfitting bit and whould that be stong enough

i was down the woods with my mates we were all doing jumps there then my ballbearings came out of the hub i dont know if this common plz could someone reply
