pegs are training wheels, sounds like you got the basics of a pedal grind! Just man up and take the pegs off. Or remember this one simple thing- Hot chicks hate bmxers who put their pedals down on peg grinds.

um do any of you actuaully ride bikes or are you just giving advice of what you know from tv? I used to ride for diamond back, that sure the hell doesnt make their bikes nice. Team riders just ride what they are under contract to ride.

S&M just re released the dirt bike, all updated and good to go. perfect simple dialed trails bike. If I would have known about it I wouldnt have gotten my FBM maneater, but this bike is amazing too. And oh yeah, fly sucks because they're all made by 8th grade welders with a gun to their head

hella retarded unless you want to slide a giant aluminum rail. if you ride these pegs you sit on your computer playing bmx games too much. My pegs are drilled from bearing steel by the company to make all the bmx parts advancements in the last ten years

Re: Need major help on airouts posted on 2008-06-10 04:12:47

i always thought of the nothingness above the coping as a wall i need to stay on... I always think, well what if that was a tranny into a wall, how would hit it so my bike stays right on that point without going too far in or coming back?...

just work your way closer to straight up and down, from super long carve airs, but when you reach the top of the tranny simply lift your bars to the direction of the top of your arc you are about to make above the coping. when your back wheel gets to the top simply pull your knees up to match where your front end pulled to. if youre level enough you should be able to suck up any bike over the deck just like a regular set of doubles. or push down if youre out on the transition

if your wrist hurts too much to ride than dont ride. Thats what a doctor would tell you.

Re: quarter pipes? posted on 2006-11-12 11:10:01

turn your knees the opposite way you want to do the table, then pull your top hand down and if you want you can twist into it and next thing you know theres tire marks on the back of your shoulder.  Theres two main ways to table also... just like that-->

knees bent

And the unturndown style, with the knees straight

Re: barspin disasters?? posted on 2006-11-12 11:02:11

well dont put your foot in your tire. Also, try pivoting off your front wheel if you are trying to go to fakie out of that. then its a lot easier to figure out how to just straight hop 180 back in the quarter....

Re: need tips posted on 2006-11-12 10:57:46

I remember when I was a little kid i didnt know how to hop at all, so one day I actually grabbed my seat and just jumped. It worked but then i figured out that the handles on the seat were for flatlanding not bunny hopping.... being a kid in the woods was pretty dang fun....

Re: Pegless Brakeless Street Deadass Deadass Grimey Life posted on 2006-11-12 10:50:53

during a large portion of the summer I was riding chainless brakeless and part of the time pegless. You only limit yourself if you dont think you can switch your bike around for something different...  Like putting pegs back on... Theres no way im going to pedal grind or pegless grind a kinked rail for instance. I haven't had brakes for years though, and if a car gets in my way I let the bike fly into it.

Re: Would this be a good choice? posted on 2006-11-12 10:35:17

just go chainless
