You are gonna get hasseled no matter where ya live or what you are doing. Skater or nonskater there are still a holes who try to make themselves look good to groups by saying stuff about ya while you are minding your buisness. I have gotten that everywhere ive riden. The last time was at a park i was with a buddy riding on a basketball court and there was a court right next to ours and about 4 guys started saying crap. they went past the closest court to say stuff. If it was 4 riders and 1 guy he wouldn't have intentially started crap to look good.
people ingenral can just be a holes nothing you can do. thats life i guess we just need to ride in bigger groups so people don't say things cuz i could have been doing pro tricks and those dicks would have still said stuff

looking for midwest riders posted on 2006-12-12 01:39:18
i am a midwest rider with a website called midwest-flat.com, i am looking for any midwest flatlander interested in having a spot on the site. it isn't a team or anything but just a way to bring the area together. i have riders from indiana, ohio and kentucky just looking for as many as possible. i mean other regions have groups why not the midwest.
winter sucks posted on 2006-12-07 13:25:20
when ya have no indoor spots winter really sucks. here in indianapolis it is in the teens and a low around 5 degrees. makes a person want to migrate to the coasts.

i don't think there will be a midwest event until atleast spring you will only find events this time of year in texas and on the west coast. but i sent ya a P.M. that maybe will help a little bit

im glad to see a big step of improvement. it loads faster and is becoming easier to read and reply on. Im sure it will only be a matter of time and just looking at the names of the posts and there are still users missing but i see more users everyday. keep up the good work and i think as it improves we will begin to forget about old pedal.
Re: where is everybody? posted on 2006-12-04 15:22:40
i believe most of the community is kinda in a limbo they do search other sites. a lot i am sure hit up global-flat and most check out pedal but day by day kinda hope it will go back to the old site. but i am sure that once all the bugs are worked out the community will migrate back unless the bugs continue on for a while. great site it is just getting a face lift and i guess we are all old people and hate change.

i say ride naked ya never will have to worry about it being comfy or getting caught on the bike. the down side is the draft ya might get.
Re: the shins (not the band) posted on 2006-11-10 19:07:14
ever since i made the switch to plastic pedals my shin problems went away. but if i work on a trick like tranqulized said i throw them on sometimes.

is this trick under appreciated now a days. i think that no matter what level you ride at this trick should always be at least a warm up trick if not more then that
