I think the DK signal is a great starter bike. My mate recently bought one, so i've had the chance to ride one.
Besides a really dodgy freecoaster, it's a great bike. Light enough to start with and learn the fundamentals, and it won't hurt your wallet.

The guy on the green bike is Clint Miller. He's pushing the tech/front wheel stuff which is good to see. If you dig this sort of thing you should check out "Front Brake Revolution", a UK video full of tech stuff, and a little cameo by Sam Foakes.
