any 1 got tips for hitchh posted on 2006-12-12 15:52:27
i have been doing half hikers for quite a while, i can glide them for pretty long, but whenever i try a hitchiker i cant make the bars stay in the same position. i always scrape the bars on the floor and whenever i try to pick them up i cant keep the feet balanced... any tips except practicing?
thanks

It's hard to say, since you're not technically buying it, but I'd say go with the Suelo's. It's only $60 more, and I think it's worth it to have something you WANT, not something you have to just settle with using. For me, I'd rather spend a little more and get something I want, rather than get something just because it's cheap.
hmm, the suelos seem more and more out of reach financialy every day, and the bar mitzvah bars seem actually verry good.
they weigh 700 grams with tons of room to cut, and no worries about stem fitting or cash.

I would suggest getting the odyssey barmitzvahs. Its a good compromise between the two bars (lighter than the momentums and stronger :? than the suelos in a nice 2 piece style) and they have a lifetime guarantee. They are also on sale on flatland fuel. I have the barmitzvah lows and they are my favorite bars.
hmm ill try looking into that.
NeilG: the suelo bars are way narrower then the hoffman, and if you think hoffmans are light then you should try the suelos... they are noted at 540 grams..
My question is: should i go for bar mitzvah's or for the hoffmans and have extra cash for other parts, or use all the cash on the bars?

so in other words, a bar your not to fond of, but i half the price, or orthe suelos which you do like but are double the price of the others, well nearly, it comes down to this really, are you willing to spend the extra to get what you actually want or to save the cash, and get something that you don't quite connsider correct for yourself.
i would say the suelos are the bars i ever dreamed of :-D
but the price is double, and the quality is triple, also the money is not mine... im dependant on my dad since im 14 :?

i have been banging my head against the wall about this decision... cant make up my mind so i posted in forums...
decision, which handlebars? posted on 2006-10-29 09:37:45
hey everyone, i came to a decision that sometime, in the near time i hope im gonna switch bars, and i can't decide between these 2:
the Suelo 9 butt bars:
http://www.flatlandfuel.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=849786%7C889265&PRID=1561868
positives: very narrow bar, very light (540grams!), the geometry and height i wanted, zero sweep.
negatives: colors kinda strange (can get over with tho), might need to do the stem modifications, 115$ to get to my house.
The hoffman momentum handlebar:
http://www.flatlandfuel.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=849786%7C889265&PRID=1460336
positives: 63$ to get to my house, zero sweep.
negatives: sharp things sticking out in the tube that connects to the stem (i have that on my bars, it sucks big time), width: 24 inch!!! huge!, heavier then the suelo, and geometry that i don't like.
help appreciated alot :-)

I say you have to envision things to actually do them.
Now if only someone could help me envision how to get out of a fork glide...
hehe, jump up, switch the foot on the peg, reach with the other one to the rear peg, lean the bike a little, switch hands and ride away

I would say a balance between the two. I would prefer to ride with someone if the spot was far and I had to ride to. I have no problem riding alone when the spot is near, peaceful, with good ambience.
same here, riding in huge groups is kinda hard since there might be not enough space in the spot, and sometimes people just chill and start talking away time.

I wonder how KGB feels about you pretty much copying their bars? I know I'd be rather pissed off. But it's cool none the less. I couldn't design a fucking barend if I wanted too... :-)
I'm just doing bars like kgb to improve myself that I can build any bars that I want. I'm selling almoust only my products :-D
well they can patent it, then you will be in big trouble....
anyways...
how much would a handlebar sent to israel cost?
what will be if it snaps in half ?

My Colombian Spanish sucks, but it seems like there is no CC option just now...

En cuanto a los métodos de pago podemos ofrecer tres en este momento:
- Transferencia bancaria.
- Giro
- Pago personalizado
Bank transfer,
not sure exactly what Giro corresponds to (like a wire transfer?),
or pay in person (locals)
I guess if you want to test it out then wire them some money and see what happens.
If it's bad you could lose that cash, but at least no other hassles with CCs to deal with.
gah... no 1 knows any 1 that bought from that site? or maybe some one in this forum that bought form them?
i mean its redicilous, you can buy a frame for less then a dollar.
i heard people buying frames in the philipenes for 7$ but no 1 told about this site...
anyone?

hmm, i might go down my basement and do that, ill practice hitchikers... i just need to clear the 20 coats of dust on the walls and all the dead bugs and old furniture of my neighbour's.... i might be running out of oxygen down there tho because the door leads to the street and i live in such a neighbourhood that if something can be closed, you better close it...
