DONT USE WD-40!!!!! Pour water into the grip to get it off. Dry the grip and bars. Spray the bars (where the grips go) with spray paint, or hair spray. Slide you grips on. Let it dry for 30 minutes and ride!!!!!

BAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA... *tear* damn that was funny.

And agreing with wtp kid again. I have never seen a crack on the bottom of a bb.

WTP kid. You stole my rant. But yea. The tubing in the font of the headtube really doesnt have to deal with much stress. Triangle distribute stess through the whole structure. I might not be great at bmx... But i do know pysics, i do know geometry, and i sure as hell know structual engineering, along with mechanical engineering. I also might suck at spelling... but everybody does. From a mechanical standpoint those holes do NOT interfer with the integrety of the frame. The hole on the bottom of the bottom bracket is a bad idear though.

Baaaarrrssss meh and the ones you drink at too :D posted on 2006-03-12 07:43:03

I have a set of 2 piece bars that are like 5 inch rise. I have no clue who makes them though. I hate them. I ride like 7.5 inch four pieces.

The holes are in places where there isnt a structual demand. Basicly by cutting the hole into they are saving dead wieght. Regardless of what anyone tells you on here. I think that frame is ugly as sin. But if its weak its not cause of the holes its cause its an eastern :P

You can't weld raw aluminum to raw steel. Well... im lying to you. You could... but it would last 2 seconds. Aluminum doesnt fuse with steel... like at all. To be welded to steel aluminum needs to be plated with nickle? i think. Even then, the weld is only as strong as the plating, which incae you dense in the head... isnt very strong. You could snap the weld with a light blow from a wrech, so no way it would hold all that pressure form the chain.
