Been hittin turbines to forward steams pretty consistent. Also doing a bunch of mess around ride outs like firehydrant to a half faux smith decade thing landing in a fork glide to a half boomerang out.

Ive also become pretty good a 1 tap whiplashes, hehe,  seems like it would be easier to learn it as a jumplash and save me the trouble of timing out the foot switch. (which is why I can't pull them yet)

NIce to see there is some activity here.

Well I didnt ride alot for the past couple of months, Bored I guess cuz i wasnt learning anything new. I some how find its good to take breaks when you hit a wall.

So today, I went out riding, I hit a couple of really controlled turbine steams...linked em to a funky chicken back to steam. I was stoked. Recently ive been trying to walk into switch handed steams. These used to be sooooo difficult to balance.  I can roll em decently and in a circle, tho i just usually end up losing balance and stepping off.

Not as big of a deal, but i nailed a couple of good flail boomerangs messin with old school. Probably the first flail ive landed since 1989 lol....  Ive been thinking about trying to re learn decades. Ive kinda been messing with doing dork wheelies in tight circles and half decading  into what could end up a fire hydrant/mc circle/turbine steam. I forgot how Mental trying to commit to a decade was.

Hey Tim,

I had one a while back before I started messing with stem reach.  I had the 48mm one, I think they only make 38mm now.

As far as the grip, It held on very well. Thing about the stem was, you have to use 2 american allen keys . 1/4 inch for the face and 7/32 for the pinch.  I was always lacking a 7/32 when I needed it. But no biggie. The other thing i often wondered, was how easily the pinch clamp parts would be to replace, if need be...??  Other than that, Great stem.

been getting turbine steamrollers Ok lately 40-50%. I found that one of the tricks to turbining seems to be twisting the wheel with your foot to help go forward. (Anyway, this has worked well for me)

Been starting to work on circle Ks. Mainly stepping into them. Ive gotten about 5-6 scuffs at best.
This trick seems really fun, I cant wait to dial this one.

Generally riding alot smoother these days. I seem to be able to focus more on the feel of tricks and less focused on my physical bike.

Circle K help posted on 2006-11-08 19:45:32

Tonight I was messin around trying to lean some new stuff. I decide to try stepping into a circle K.
I'm doing the right foot on the left peg method, scuffing with my left foot. I was suprised that I got about 4 good kicks atmost on my first night. It feels weird kicking with my left foot. I was just curious, is this a true "scuff" trick, or a forward squeaking type trick?  I found I used my brakes a bit to gain balance. Bad habit?
