You could either stop grinding, or deal with it, if you have profiles or any crank like profiles, just get bitching bolts, if you have to do something, get powerbites, that way they have pinch bolts and they stay out of the way.

i know when i raced, i fucked up my rear post, i just contacted the company, and they were happy to send me a replacement post, but of course it was an aluminum frame so the posts can come right out, so i dont know if it would work for you or not

the shadows are great, one pair almost lasted me a year, maybe would of lasted longer if i wore gloves, now im using the lil' dirty grips, those are not as soft as the ol' dirty grips are.

eastern has a frame out for around 170, which is like 5lbs 13oz, it comes in american or euro and u can choose from integrated and normal head tubes, its full chromoly, it has a nice design, so i dont think it would suck, just doesnt cost as much as the other frames, hope this helps any
