What kind of frame??? posted on 2005-07-19 15:36:23

If you know what you want in a frame then just look at a catolog or something and get what you think fits you best. Dont listen to other people cause everyone has different likes in frames and people will tell you one thing then another will tell you something completely contradictory. If you dont know what you want then you need to figure out what top tube length you need, if you are small that I assume about 5'6'' you probably need about a 20.25 or 20.5. Go to www.danscomp.com and look at their sizing chart to figure this out. Then you need to figure out you bottom bracket. The best to get would be the mid or the spanish bb. Euro and standard are rapidly vanishing. MOre than likely you sould get a fly as they said. They are super smooth and comfortable and are pretty strong. Also watch your chain clearance if you want a frame w/ chainstay brake mounts.

YOuve got the idea. Just keep trying until you figure it out. It didnt take me to long to learn them but baisically you want to keep your front end as low as possible but tuck your ass back as far as possible so you can get enough momentom when you pull off to clear your front tire. Also trying them on smaller ledges like a foot or so tall is a little easier than a sidewalk. It will aslo help you on larger ledges. Hope I helped.

how do reduce my bike weight/? posted on 2005-07-19 15:20:37

the best thing you can do is with drilling anything out and fucking up your bike is switch to race forks and 38ths front end. RUn 36h rims.

go to lowes or something and get some of those color stips that they have for showing you what colors look like when they're dry and just compare or pick out the one you like best.
