Primo pedal pins? posted on 2005-03-28 11:29:46

They come with primo pedals when you buy them, and also they just push into your pedal. No allen head, no phillips head, they just push in

I would never ever ride a fat chain
why?
They are absoulutely terrible, I don't do sprocket tricks and whatnot to care about them..they are unessecary weight (not that I really care)

The KMC 510HX chain is 1/8, I would never ever ride a fat chain

stubborn freewheel-any solutions? posted on 2005-03-26 15:53:28

Take it to a shop and use their vice, or if you have one put the freewheel remover in the vice and just use it that way

Shadow Chain Questin posted on 2005-03-25 10:42:19

Damn, I really need a chain with adjustability...cause it seems the half link is bigger and wider than my 510 chain and it doesn't exactly fit right, the pin doesn't go all the way through like a regular chain..i goes just enough to hold it but not like a millimeter or 2 over to make it safe...and I got mad tight and loose spots everytime the half-link rolled over my driver...this sucks, short dropouts suck ass

Shadow Chain Questin posted on 2005-03-24 18:15:44

Since my dropouts on my fit s2 are so small, and I run 25-9, I use the KMC 510hx chain but I had to put a half link in the chain to make it fit right...but the half link doesn't exactly fit right and it seems that the 510 pin doesn't go all the way through the half link

I was wondering if the shadow chain will work on 9t drivers and 25t sprockets?

I know how it feels to lose trails that were close to someone, when Clover Hills in westmont NJ got plowed, I saw some much hate anger, and ever grown men that shed a tear or to when the asshole township plowed them about 4 years ago, they were going to make soccer fields or w/e and they never did..that pissed me off so much...so now its just flat woods back there now...riders such as Van Homan, Chris stauffer were spotted down there and also being in ride bmx magazine a few times..my friends has the issue. that area to be there longer than I've been alive was plowed..I couldn't believe it

It sucks hard.

gear ratio for trails posted on 2005-02-20 02:33:17

25-9, only bad thing is that my chain has to have a half-link in it and now I get MAD tight and loose spots, because the half-link is not curved and is flat so it doesn't roll right on my driver, other than that its amazing

MKC 510 chain question posted on 2005-02-18 19:26:47

I just got my 510 put on and we had to put a half link in it, its one with a regular chain pin and not a cotter pin, will this effect the chains strength, I am running 25-9

I experimented with 2 gorilla unsealed cups, it worked like a charm but looked goofy as hell..I used my regular tank top cup race and everything..
