stole a hub, is it any good? posted on 2005-04-20 21:53:41
Well if you said you are repacking the bearing, then I'm guessing it's unsealed so if that's the case, then it sucks

IMO Odyssey stuff blows, their brakes are good though
IMO your a fucking idiot and blow, you gotta be pretty dumb to actually think that
Sorry to offend odyssey stuff, but honestly...I had their cassette hub a while back and the hub shell cracked, tried to get it warranteed and they wouldn't they said it was intentional inflicted damage or some b/s..ever since then I never been a big fan of odyssey parts...I am just going on what I have experienced...their customer service is good but I got fucked over

Do I need an entire BB? Or just the bearings? posted on 2005-04-06 13:33:00
Tioga makes a sealed bottom bracket for one piece cranks, which will work with your 3piece monster cranks

If it wasn't for Primo, I more than likely wouldn't have a wheelset and tires..almost everything on my bike is Primo cause they make good stuff
I love their wheels, they are a fucking bargain, I got the cassette back wheel for 185 bux when it first came out like 2-1/2 years ago, I also have the primo low flange front wheel. Their wheels are cheap IMO
I also have their cranks, pedals, and seat....the cranks which are good but I still perfer profiles just because of their pedal bosses

If you don't want crushed bearings, I suggest you use it
the shadow chain isnt a ft chain...it weighs like the same as a 510
They weigh more than a 510 and are not a fat chain, I am not dumb.
Shadow Chain Questin posted on 2005-03-28 15:15:49
They are horrible in the fact that they eat your sprockets teeth away, and just don't run smooth at all

Why don't you go and tell that to companies that stamp their names on hub?, I cant think of about 3 companies that stamped their name on the odyssey cassette, and other hubs...hub molds are extremely expensive
