actualy, you're trecel rod is most likley the problem.
This is the metal rod that runs the length of the neck and is usually tightned/lossened by an axl nut near the head. I dont recommend messing with it yourself, but a 15 dollar visit to your local shop should set it up.

Raising the action on such an instrument is like putting air in the tires of a car with a bent axel.

I read these forums on a daily baisis......almost in their entireity.

I stopped posting long ago due to a few reasons...
1.better things to do
2.adulthood
3.reruns of "everybody loves raymond" way to compelling
4.ADULTHOOD
5.tired of you...the experts of this, our subculture of (frankly) a subculture arguing over semantics.
6.crippling alchoholism.

mostly the latter..but the message is the same.
STOP BITCHING.
